My thirty day challenge went fine. The first week went perfectly, with me practising 30 minutes each day, more or less. But near the middle of February I got sick so I had to go to bed earlier, cutting out my practice time. By the next week I was better again, but I suddenly got lots of homework and tests so I didn’t practice for another week. At this time it was nearing the end of February. To make up for the times I didn’t practice, I practiced 1 hour each day until February ended along with my thirty day challenge.
Now it’s time to look back. I guess I should’ve started my homework earlier or practiced more on weekends for my second week of missed practises. But excluding that, I think I did pretty well on my 30 day challenge.

30 days challenge Check~~~Tiffany
I'm proud to say I completed my challenges successfully. For my jump rope challenge I actually jump roped, so I guess that one was okay. But I still have a few minutes left to do so I will finish the minutes even after the thirty days. No one really helped me, it’s quite sad but my mom did encourage me to exercise often. The other one which was to limit my time on the computer each day, I managed to stay under 2 hours of computer time. After these thirty days, I am actually quite surprised at myself for sticking to my challenges. I think I will continue to jump rope to exercise, or I might set a new goal for myself and do my own thirty day challenge.

Learning Log for Friday, March 2
What we did
Today we had a substitute teacher. First she explained to us what we needed to do, which was finish “there will be wolves, do our questions, then do a paragraph or two about our thirty day challenge. Then we did our work quietly until 2:00. At that time students were walking out so everyone got distracted.
Why we did it
Because the teachers are going on strike for Monday Tuesday and Wednesday we got lots of homework so we won’t be behind. We are doing paragraphs about our thirty day challenge so we can reflect and see where our challenges went wrong and how we may have been able to fix them.
Learning intention
Because we are reflecting back on our thirty day challenges we are learning from our mistakes. This is useful because we make mistakes so we can learn from them.
Homework and reminders
No school Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday because of the strike. Last day for learning blogs. Chapters 11-14 there will be wolves questions and paragraph on thirty day challenges. Include whether your challenge was successful or not and explain why.

Learning log for Thursday, March 1
What we did
Today was our double block day. First we got time to work on our skit scripts and figure out what we still need. We are all performing them after spring break except for one group. After break Ms. Lees handed out colour coded sheets and we did our portfolio prep. We did this by taking out our semester one sheets and putting them in our binders, and putting in our new sheets as replacement. This time we are going to bring them home to show our parents.
Why we did it
We got time to work on our plays because we all needed more time, and we worked on our portfolios because semester one is over and term three is almost over.
Learning intention
We are doing our portfolios because we are reflecting and self assessing. This is good because if we are reflecting we are thinking about what we did right and what we did wrong. This way we can repeat what we did right and learn from what we did wrong.

No homework except to finish your at least 10 blog posts.
