What we did
Today Ms Lees told us to write a heart mapping for our self for about thirty minutes and volunteers share one of there memorize.
We also do PARAGRAGRAPHS.There are three kinds of paragraphs narrative, descriptive and persuasive. We are focusing on narrative today. We read two narrative paragraphs and talk about how can they be improve.
why we did it
The heart mapping is to use to know what memorize that we had and may used to be the topic of the paragraphs that we will write this week.
The two paragraphs we read today both are narrative and we talk about what skill do they use that we do not use them often. The first one have many adjective and the second one have time period but the first one is the way that we are not use to and less people using it.
My Reflections / Connections
The two narrative paragraphs show us what is a narrative paragraph and it is not only in humanities class this will used forever this kind of paragraphs can be used anywhere and it is important to learn how to write a good paragraphs.
Homework
Write a narrative paragraph and the topic is one of the thing on your heart mapping. It is due Thursday if you finish this one you could do next one so you do not have homework on Thursday
Next humanities is on Thursday and Dylan is doing learning log
Good Job Michael!!
ReplyDeleteBut you forgot to put down the homework for today, in case you forgot we have to write a narrative paragraph using either the topic from the heart map or something else. It's due on Thursday.
I add it on already!!!
ReplyDeleteYou didn't before I commented!!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't see it.
I know that no one cares but you spelled paragraph wrong
ReplyDeleteIt should be expository paragraphs instead of persuasive. Persuasive is part of expository.
ReplyDeleteSome helpful reminders and tips in your comments but let's try to watch your tone some. You want to be supportive and parts sound almost attacking and defensive in nature. Think of the old saying "you can attract more bees with honey.". How might this apply here?
